Remote sensing for greener urban spaces

Participants will get the opportunity to learn how to apply satellite technology towards planning greener urban spaces, through Google Earth Engine; a cutting-edge geospatial analysis platform. By using this engine, under the brilliant guidance of Liza Goldberg attendees will learn how to assess and process basic satellite datasets to map vegetation distribution and urban heat island effect in Mumbai and other major cities across India.
